PORTFOLIO

Campaigns

Marketing has the biggest impact when there is clear purpose, engaging programming, and professional communication. A successful campaign doesn't just meet KPIs, it touches community members and helps build a loyal audience.

You can read about some campaigns I worked on below.

Earth month
at wake forest

To be better stewards and celebrate the planet, we hosted a month long Earth Month on campus, including a calendar of 24 events. In collaboration with designers, I worked on banners, digital screens, and other materials to run both an in-person and virtual awareness campaign. I paid special attention to the library display and "tree tags" to better engage passerbys and new community members in our work.

kindercare
ribbon cutting

Coordinating with the Kindercare Early Childhood Education Center, vendors, and campus offices, I helped to compose press releases, design graphics, and plan an innaugural ribbon cutting event to celebrate the opening and invite parents to enroll their children.

all things considered ads

In collaboration with my team, I launched the "News from your backyard and beyond" campaign to promote All Things Considered. Combining on-air promotion, print and digital ad placements in addition to social media assets produced by my intern, we promoted the show and saw an increase of listenership.

Pride drive - book drive for north star lgbtq+ center

To help NorthStar celebrate their 10th anniversary Wake Forest Queer Affinity Group led a book drive and cleanout for their library, I coordinated the launch of this campaign with Banned Books Week and organized a digital and poster campaign to spread word.

Writing

From blog pieces to press releases, as a trained writer I have a dynamic style tailored to the platform and reader. I enjoy uplifting others and keeping my community informed through my writing, and often write for myself and others in my efforts to expedite publication and play to team strengths.

To look at a special newsletter series I composed, I recommend you read my National Poetry Month Challenge emails. You can also view a gallery of my articles, emails, and other pieces of writing to the right.

Events

Big or small, in-person or online, events are important to me as they allow me to foster connections with my community and peers. Scroll through and click on the images below to learn more about a few of the events I have planned and helped coordinate!

Social Media

Communities can very greatly on social media, but they're always a great way to stay connected to your audience and have some fun. I've worked on a variety of social media projects, designing templates and offering creative direction or overseeing the entire process from pitch to publish.
